Phil Ivey's bracelet bet

The rumor from the ESPN podcast with Phil Gordon and a few different internet sites have basically put Ivey's bracelet bets between 2-3 million which is absolutely sick.

This is why Ivey is registering in as many events as possible and playing to amass a large stack early.

For anyone who picked Ivey in their FTP fantasy picks may want to take that into consideration. While he's playing more events, he's also playing very aggressively. So he'll either go deep or bust early.

Yeah, I read about that. I also read that in the 2-7 triple draw rebuy event he spent over 50k in rebuys, insane.

He laid numerous people odds that he would "win a bracelet this year". There's some dispute as to whether or not that is ONLY the WSOP or includes the WSOPEurope too.

Ivey wants to include WSOP Europe since they do give out bracelets, obviously no one else wants that.

It sounds like Ivey may have been bitten off more than he can chew. He had a great shot in the 3k H.O.R.S.E., but I just checked and he busted late last night.

Anyone count how much he has spent on these events? He has entered in nearly every event and spent over 50k in rebuys in the lowball event. Not sure about the PLO rebuy, and he has only cashed in one tourney so far

yeah beause he so much more to lose if he doesnt get a bracelet.. so dropping 50k in rebuys is worth it if you could lose MILLIONS>

I just heard on the Pokerstars Pokercast that Phil Ivey has up to 20 million dollars in bets. I can't believe the money he would make if he wins. It's crazy to me.

wow, if i got 20 millions bet on me for winning another bracelet. i would be rich for sure. but in other way it'll put me in tremendous pressure to try win ONE event.
