    Re: rakeback

Correct, you must play real money games.

You earn rakeback on both ring tables (cash) and tournaments that charge rake (such as the dime rebuy, or a tournament buy-in of 5+.50 (ex.))
WDIAV has all the online poker promotions you need including rakeback. Keep wedoitallvegas in mind when planning a trip to Las Vegas, with discounts on flights, hotels, and coupons there's no better way to save money.

    Re: rakeback

Wow! This is another great program. I have one problem though. I have 2 FullTilt accounts. I created one without using any bonus code and then I found this (WDIAV). A very good affiliate of FullTilt. So i registered another account using WEDOITALL. Did I commit any violation, even though I haven't deposited any amount yet? It was stupid of me not to read the entire terms and conditions. More importantly, am I qualified for the monthly free roll and the rakeback program? I hope so, because within this week I'll start my real money account at FullTilt.

    Re: rakeback

Is there any way to get rakeback if you already have an account on tilt?

    Re: rakeback

i used a rakeback promotion from another site and it was for existing full tilt players but full tilt had to approve it. sometimes they were approving it and sometimes they weren't according to the site. according to my emails my request was approved and i am due to get my rake back on june 15th for the previous month. for some reason, i just feel that full tilt will find a reason not to pay it.,..hopefully I am wrong.

Rakeback is really a very simple concept. Since the poker room you belong to (Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker, Ultimate Bet, and Cake Poker to name a few) takes a percentage of all your action at the tables, be it a cash game or tournament play, to encourage you to stay with them and not move elsewhere, they'll pay a percentage of what they take back to you each month. Typically, that percentage they'll pay back can range from a pidling 10-15% to a more generous 27-33% depending on the poker room and the rakeback program you enter (many poker room have several different rakeback options available so read the TOC carefully).

Look at it from the Poker Room's point of view. The "up front" costs of starting a poker room can be pretty steep (software, website developement, hiring qualified people to manage it, etc.) but after that, it's not that expensive to maintain. The costs of running a poker room online are a lot less than the cost of running a "live" poker room in a casino. So the online poker room has more profit margin available to pay back to the poker players to entice them to play more on their site.

In addition, competition has definitely raised it's ugly head in the online poker industry. If you don't feel welcome at a poker room or think you can get a better deal in another poker room, it's only a few "mouse click's" away. It's not like Las Vegas where you have to hire a cab and drive for miles to another room.

"Ok"...you say...."I want rakeback!". So you go to your favorite poker room and send an email to support and say just that. Their response to you is..."Rakeback? WHAT the heck is THAT?". Now what do you do???

The way it works is this. The poker room makes agreements with various other affiliates, such as WDIAV where the affiliate signs up players on their own and the players are "attached" to that affiliate. The poker room pays the rakeback to the affiliate shortly after the end of the rakeback month (usually by the 15th of the next month) and the affiliate in turn pays the player their rakeback to their account. You can see the different poker rooms and the rakeback deals available for We Do It All Vegas by clicking HERE.

But here's where it gets kinda interesting.

Say you've already signed up with a poker room by going to that poker room site and just signing up without getting rakeback. You're happy with that room and enjoy playing there but gee.....you REALLY would like to get rakeback. Often times (but NOT always) WDIAV through their affiliate program can request that player be moved over to our rakeback affiliate account so the player gets rakeback. Some players will sign up with a second account to get rakeback, but the poker rooms don't like that and frankly, it's a violation of your terms of play with them so we strongly discourage that.

Not only can you get rakeback on your own play, but many poker rooms allow their affiliates to let players become "agents" of that poker room. As an agent getting rakeback on their own play, they can recruit other players and get an "override" commission from the affiliate on the play of ANY player they recruit.

WDIAV makes this easy for our rakeback players in that we can create special "tracking codes" or "trackers" where you as an agent can send an email to a player you know who wants rakeback with your personal tracking code (which is a HTML link) included in the email. The player you send the "tracker" to, merely clicks on it and it takes him to the poker room download site and when he downloads and installs the poker room software, it automatically "tracks" the player back to the agent, and the WDIAV affiliate program. So you automatically get the commission for that player's play, typically 4%!

    It gets even better!

If you have a web site or a blog, you can post "Banners" we can provide to you for various poker rooms that include your own tracking code embedded in it. Anyone who visits your site or blog and who sees your banner for a poker room they're interested in, can click on it and it takes them to that poker room's download page for their software.

Again, you get the override commission for that player's play. The beauty of it for banners and trackers is that (1) you don't know that player from Adam but you still get the commission and (2) that player's commission is yours FOREVER!

By visiting poker forums and poker sites and chatting up rakeback (in good taste of course!) you can generate a huge amount of personal income over time.

This is just a general description of rakeback and how it works, but if you have any thoughts or ideas, or any questions, please post them here.

    Best wishes to you all,

    Re: rakeback

I have a question, is it possible to switch from one rakeback affiliate to another? This would be on Full Tilt.

I don't think anyone usually does this but I'm wondering if I would be able to or not.

    Re: rakeback

Is there any rakeback programs/sites that you can use, even if you have already installed the software for the poker site. It is my understanding that you need to have the rakeback when you join the site. FTP doesnt allow more than 1 account so is it impossible for me to still get a rakeback?
