so i was playin a face the ace tourny the other day i was big blind and had raised 1000 with my kings, so the flop come 5(D) 3(D) Q(H) i had thought i had the best hand so i decide to raise for another 1000 the dude with the 2 calls and the turn come 10 then a 2 comes so he had hit his set and won obviuosly, i was so raged i punched a wall who in there right miond would call up to 2000 worth of chips with a pair of 2's had thatd be me id of folded that hand as soon as the 1st raise waslaid......throw me some replies on this

What were the blinds? It looks like you raised to 1000, so I can assume this was a min raise and the blinds were at 500. Then you continuation bet on the flop, and he had decent reason to believe you were bluffing. I think you actually made a mistake by not betting the turn - I would have probably raised pot. That should have gotten any draws or low pairs out of the way, and if he reraises you, then it is a fairly easy fold or an over the top allin raise, however you like to play.

That's frustrating as hell. the only solace you can take from that is you'll win a heck of a lot of money or chips from donks like that. If it weren't for idiots like him we'd have a tough time making money playing poker. Although frustrating at times, you have to love idiots like him.

ya thats what the blinds were but like buddy down the way said i shoud have pushed at the turn then i most likey wouldnt have got owned so sickly next time thats hits gonna get it though since this post started getting replies i've learnt to be more aggressive with monster hnds

yeah i would have bet minimum 4 to 5 times the big blind. htere would have been a goo chance that he would have folded. but than again he might have called cause its only a freerole
