Defend your right to play poker

    Dear WDIAV Forum Members,

As you may be aware, the current Administration is seeking to finalize rules and regulations that will negatively impact on your ability to play internet poker.

In the U.S. Senate, Harry Reid of Nevada is in a strong position to stop the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) from being enacted. Inform him today that you want your rights preserved.
Please call Senator Reid at 1-866-SEN-REID (736-7343) and tell him:
    • I am a voter in Nevada and one of millions of Americans who enjoy playing Internet poker
    • Please do everything you can to stop the current Administration from finalizing the UIGEA rules and regulations
    • The White House is pressuring the Federal Reserve to finalize these rules, even though the Federal Reserve says that the UIGEA is bad for banks
    • Please encourage the Federal Reserve to reject finalization of UIGEA until its impact on banks and consumers has been fully studied
Ask your Senator to protect your personal freedoms by calling him TODAY.

If you're not already a member, please consider joining the Poker Players Alliance by visiting www.joinppa.org. Forward this link to your friends and fellow players in the poker community who may be interested.

Thank you for standing up for poker and your rights.

Going to Las Vegas where I am going to play some Poker in the Casino and hopefully earn some Free Poker Cash for all my poker play. Of course I have to check on the poker forum while in Vegas.

I had joined the PPA when Stars was having the freerolls, I think we should all become more active and get on our senators backs about it!

A member of PPA and hope some day all will be square with the on line poker. I realize that this is not a very important thing to many in Wash. and now that ecomony is so bad- no one needs to be gambling away their money. I think it will come about some day but will take awhile.

yea Im a member of the PPA also an feel we all should start taking this with more than a grain of salt, although I believe they need to get a little bit strict on these RNGs, the way they are set are crazy for the chaser, but its still fun to play an I would hate to lost this online poker

I think we should all have the "RIGHT" to play poker where we want, as long as it is legal. If the law makers want to pass legislation, they should work on a system that monitors the card generators. That way we would be sure the cards were coming off the deck randomly and not coming of to make bigger pots or to favor a certain type of play.
