top 5 things i am thankful for..

1. I am thankful for the doctors who kept me and my mother alive during her difficult pregancy.

2. I am thankful for the commuity who help supported my family thru though times ( churches/ food pantries)

3 I am thankful for the teachers who never gave up on me.

4. I am thankful for all the people who serve our countries in so many diffrent ways, (army, police, doctors, nurses, teachers, etc..)

5. I am thankfull for all the free money wdiav have given me and everyone else!!

1).I'm thankful for my mom's cancer surgery being a success. In June she was diagnosed with cancer and was in and out of the hospital all summer. In August she had the surgery to remove the cancer. We were scared of what they would find when they opened her up but thankfully it hadn't spread and they were able to remove it all. Because it was an aggressive cell type of cancer ,she is going through chemo and will need radiation,followed by more chemo as a precaution. When you hear the word cancer,the world stop's and you naturally think the worst. Although the chemo is taking a toll on her,she is still here and will get back to being herself after the treatment's and their side effect's are over.So for that i'm thankful.

2).I'm thankful for my son's vision.As many of you know,in January a freak accident happened and my 16 yr old son Ryan had a dart thrown through his eye. He went through a 3 hour surgery followed by multiple laser surgery's at The Wilmer Eye Institute. For the first 11 week's of treatment he had little to no vision in that eye.After lot's of follow up's, his vision has been restored completely.A big thank you to the doctor's and a BIG shout out to Wilmer.

3).I'm thankful for the roof over my head and the food at our table. My hubby is in the Home Improvement industry and with the economy being in the slump's alot of people don't want to spend the money(which is understandable). But it seem's like something alway's comes through when we need it the most and we've managed to stay afloat.

4).I'm thankful for my Kid's and my family. They are what matter's the most and what make's me the most happy.

5).Ok this last one will sound crazy but if you're a parent you will understand. I'm thankful for technology. Your kid's grow up so fast it's unbelievable. Time literally does fly by. You blink and they go from 2 to 16 in no time. But with picture's and home movie's you can alway's go back and remember their first step's , their first day of school, when they lost their first tooth , Sant'a lap ,everything , every little moment that you want to hold onto , you can thank's to the ever growing world of technology.
