Any hand is hard to play online lately. I am finding players that don't respect a raise and I am faced with a flop that I missed. Position is important when playing any hand. Late position is good for bigger hands if everyone folds and maybe a few limpers, then I raise with AK. I will sometimes limp in early position with AK-A10. Easy fold if I miss. X

yes it does seem like people dont respect the raise anymore. i have been watching the WSOP and there isnt any respect for the raise on there too. i guess people are running off of instinct if that is what you wanna call it

    Re: AK?????

well, AK is not a god like hand. some people think it is but it isnt.
the fact of the matter is, its just 2 live cards, high ones, but still live, not a pair.
its vulnerable to any other hand out there, it can be beaten a good percentage of the time by two under cards. when you think about it, AK is a nice starting hand depndant on hitting an A or a K, rarel a straight of a flush, so its not hard for me to get away from it. some people over value it and rush to go all in prefol with it.
and about the whole coin toss saying, a coin toss is 50-50. when you with AK vs an underpair, you behind, not by a lot, but your behind. your going to lose money in the long run if your addicted to AK like some people and are willing to go all in with it each time against a pair.
