Ice Road Trucker

(As you can tell by my threads...that's all I do is watch tv and play poker on full tilt..lol)

Anybody watch this show. The new season started last night. These dudes have to drive in some crazy conditions but last night they said how much money they make. They make a min. of $120,000 for 12 weeks. If they take extra loads or pull more weight they get paid more. I think if I was a truck driver I would be up there as much as possible. That's a lot of money. Pretty cool show. Glad they got rid of the two little cry babies they had in previous seasons.

PS A lot of new seasons start this week! I am so excited...I am sure I will write about them.

i seen a couple episodes of this show but i dont think what they do is as dangerous as what the guys on deadliest catch do. but both jobs are crazy.

On a day to day basis yeah I think the deadliest catch guys have a more dangerous job but if those truck drivers fall thru the ice...that's it they are gone! I like the deadliest catch show alot better than ice road truckers. and those guys make pretty good money too

yeah..i love the new breed of work reality Television..like deadliest catcH & worlds most dangerous jobs..make you realize how crazy some people are & the "average" day for one man is insanity for another..great new show tho..cant wait to see whats next

yea they both have dangerous jobs, and im not sure about on ice road truckers cuz i only seen a few episodes but on deadliest catch there are always people dying.

Bunk are you a fan of "Big Brother" ? This is my all time fave reality show. I am a member of sooooo many BB fan site's and I get the live feed's and showtime afterdark as well. New season start's next month.

never really watched it...i watch my stories during the day (young & the restless, bold & beautiful, and as the world turns...use to watch guiding light but that got dumb)....I watch so many damn shows now my tivo stays full...lol but if you think i will watch it I will check it out. i will only watch a show if its been tivo'd cause i hate commercials and hate the pause in a show when something happens good so i like to fast forward it real quick. when does it come on? my tivo is set nearly 24 hrs a day so hopefully it doesn't come on same time as something else. lol

Oh you have to watch it , i think you will love it. It has everything. Drama,fight's ,showmance's, alliance's,competition's and more. I believe it start's on July 9th. If you like it we can start a new thread and I could probably get a thousand post's just from that...lol. That's how into this show I get. And if you have showtime,everynight it come's on at midnight and you can see live what is going on in the house.

I forgot to add that it airs 3 night's a week on cbs but it air's live on showtime everynight.

Alex made it back to drive the Dalton HWY. I didn't think he would have been back after having a blood clod last year. Rick didn't make it back.lol

I watch ice road truckers religiously.
