Yeah off the strip is ok...we did that the first few times but its just easier to stay on the strip cause you can get some deals if you go through a travel agent

Depends if your on a strict budget off the strip is better but if your going with a nice bank account then onthe strip is the way to go!!!!

I take my wife so we usually stay on the strip, so she can walk to all the shopping close by!

well staying off the strip can save you money if your on a vacation for a budget

if you come out to this awsome city i recommend going balls out and do it all vegas is more than gambling you can do an assortment of activities i recommend the shows they may seem expensive but gambling isn't worth it so have a memorable exp and go see some shows

we try to go once a year from fl its a long trip my wife loves the strip i prefer to gamble off the strip because of the lower stakes and better odds we just stayed for 3 nites at the hilton and 4 nites at the venetian had a great time

I agree on seeing more shows than gambling. I've seen various Cirque de Soleil features, Penn&Teller, those Blue guys, et al for a great price. Too bad that guy that was mauled by the tiger is not doing that anymore... I heard it was great.
