Downtown Las Vegas

I'm a Las Vegas native and I just have to say...

The Downtown hotel/casinos are some of the best in the valley for the entertainment and bang for your buck!!

Are you talking about Freemont street, downtown Vegas? Or on the Strip?

Downtown does have some exciting things, the light show, etc.. but as far as best hotels they are definately on the strip, even though cheaper downtown.

so when u go crazee do u stay on the strip or at the cheaper 1's downtown?

I have stayed at both , but would prefer to stay on the strip where more excitement is at

Hmm not sure, think about 5-7 miles maybe.. somewhere around there.

Downtown you have the old Vegas casinos, the first.. like Binion's, Fitzgeralds, Golden Nugget, Freemont to name a few. I stayed at Golden Nugget which is probably the nicest there the first time I ever went to Vegas. Then stayed at Fitzgeralds last time I went, it was pretty nice too.

yea the golden nugget is where my cousin stayed when he went there.

Golden Nuggett is pretty nice..

Their swimming pool is pretty cool! They actually have an aquarium in the middle of the pool with sharks in it.. And the slide goes right down the middle of it.. pretty awesome looking. You can swim around it and see it all, or stand aside and see it, don't even have to get in the water.
