No no no no....not a good idea at all!!!!!! I played two weeks ago drunk and lost $43.00 in a half hour on a 5/10 table. No joke. I didn't care. It is a hard enough game to play sober let alone drunk!!!!!!
I don't do it anymore because I just get overly aggressive and make dumb calls.

The alcohol don't afect me when I play because I never drink when I play. (hehhehe). But I think the alcohol can be cause some problems to players that drink when their play.
My friend had terrible headache and left a tournament because of alcohol.
My suggestion: Never drink when you're playing poker.
You can bet or call wrong for many times.
I do not drink and play. I find i play to carefree.
