I guess at Vegas the drunk players are everywhere, don't know if I could play with obnoxious drunks. I do know alot are playing on the internet, they don't mind telling you - think it's cool or something, keeps them loose and hopefully get their chippy's.

hi tigerlil. i had a tournament at my house the other night and didnt start drinking until after the first break and had not eatin anything. then i started drinking and got drunk. my friend stephany said that i took her glasses (paris hilton glasses) and was telling everyone that i was paris hilton. needless to say i dont remember that. there were 4 people left in the game myself included and i passed out right there and no one could wake me up. top 3 got paid and i couldnt make it. who knows what would have happened if i wouldnt have gotten soooooo drunk
    E R A S E the JAYCISM and when i eat breakfast, I'm a cereal killa

Wow, Jay- you need to stop that- not good for ya and look at what it got ya, NOTHING !!! LOL Another thing is OMG, the online dope smokers and yes they are so proud to admit it to the table. I guess thats why they play at home so they can weed speed their brain, to each their own- just stay away from my kids with that junk.

I actually tend to play %200 better when i'm drinking and smoking. It relaxes me and usually as i'm taking a sip or puffing my cig it gives me those few crucial extra seconds to think over my hand and odds.

i dont drink alcohol so i dont have to worry about that but i have noticed that players that are drinking at the table while playing live poker usually are easy money

I have to agree with Alex, if my opponents drink I do too, but only if it's a SnG. Cash games I sip water or coffee...

    See you on the felt..

    Re: Poker and Alcohol?

Sometimes it works for me sometimes it doesnt. I guess it depends on how many people are in the tourney. If its a long tourney then i wouldnt drink cause ill probably fet tired and lose patience. Otherwise it relaxes me and i actually stay pretty patient.
