I've never had a problem with checks bouncing...but my latest request is taking longer than any of my previous withdrawals. It still hasn't been longer than FT quotes but I am starting to get a little worried. Hopefully it will come soon.

Do you mean the actual request or the arrival of payment?

From what I've seen requesting a check, it arrives within 4-5 days from the day they approve the withdrawal.

Requesting a bank wire (not premium bank wire), it arrives within 2 days from approval.

As for them approving my withdrawal it only took them a few hours.

The actual payment. Usually I have the check in 3-4 business days. Today is the 8th business day and it has not arrived yet. I'm sure it is fine but I'll feel better when it gets here.

Not yet. As much as it is gnawing at me I won't do that until it actually passes the 15 business days they say to allow. As someone who used to be in Customer Service I know how frustrating it can be to have people asking you about a check before the amount of expected time has passed.

What is the expected time you have to wait to get it? Just wondering myself.

Hope you get it soon Juan, and have no problems.

For checks up to 15 business days (3 weeks) and for bank wire I think 5 business days.

Yeah, and if it had not been so quick every other time I might not be concerned.

I requested (it was approved) another check .. .maybe 2 days ago. If it doesn't get here by the end of the week I'll post about it.

Still kinda mad that bank wire isn't available right now.

MSUDuster How a check from a bank in canada work with exchange rates in US funds?

I understand both sides, but it would be nice to hear something. This kind of publicity isn't good. That said, the one member who did have this happen to them was compensated for their time and trouble so maybe they just figured they would take it case by case and hoped that would be good enough.
