Latest Fox News Poll Shows U.S. Residents in Favor of Casino Gambling

Each week Fox News in partnership with Rasmussen Reports conducts surveys related to hot topics and other news. This week the poll conducted was on the topic of U.S. residents' feelings about gambling in their home country. The majority of adults polled were in favor of gambling in the U.S. and also felt that gambling has a somewhat positive effect on the local economy.

I think the main reason the USA government is so opposed to online gaming is a control issue. With all sites operated out of country, they are powerless, and miss out on alot of taxes. It is my understanding that you can not play on a site hosted in your own country. ( I could be wrong) but there was a site hosted in Canada, and Canadians were not permitted to play on it. With this type of gaming laws, the USA doesnt want to be part of it.
