Horseshoe of Southern Indiana has big freerolls all the time, one of these days I am going to get there to play myself..just have to be there at 6am to register, tourney's start at 3pm.. I would be totally broke if I stuck around and played the slots all day,lol

lol well this was a bunch of horsecrap. last time i played in one of these we started off with 2,000 with a $5.00 option for 500 more in chips. there was a max of 77 people. momsrose and i were sat at the same table. we get our chips and there are only 1,000. i looked at the dealer and said "where are the other 1,000'. she told me this is what you start off with. if you want, you can rebuy for $20.00 and get another 2,000 in chips. she also said there are 2 (max) rebuys. i looked at her and laughed. i said so much for this being a freerole since every one but us were rebuying lol. any way... i won a nice pot to start off so i had like 1,600 in chips. than i get pocket queens and raise 5 times the big blind (25/50). i get 2 callers. the flop 78 10 hearts. the first two check. i bet 500. i get a caller and a reraise all in. i put 750 in this pot and knew i was beat. i looked at one person and said "you tripped up" and i looked at the other guy and said "you are flush drawen" and folded. sure enough the guy who went all in showed his pocket tens and the other guy was actualy strait drawing. very next hand i get A6 spades. i limp. three callers. the flop A 10 4. i bet 100 and get one caller. the other 2 fold. the turn comes up 6. i bet 200. he calls. the river comes 10. i check he goes all in. i'm like you made trip tens didntcha and fold. he shows K 10. so i am crippled lol. momsrose ends ep losing most of her thousand on a donkey trying ti catch an ace and hitting it on the river when he had nothing. so she got her favorite hand and went all in. she had 8 callers lol 11 people were at the tables. needless to say she was knocked out. i only had 250 left and the blinds just went up to 50/100 so i went all in right after her and got 7 caller lol. i couldnt believe how these vultures played there. i needed a diamond on the river to win but it didnt come and i was out virtualy right after the game started. i woulda said i had fun bugt playing with only 1,000 chips compared to 3,000 or 4,000 chips wasnt even a contest lol. i was always second best in a hand with the one exception.

yes we did lol. we hardly get any time by ourselves anymore. i was nice to not change a diaper or break up a little spat between the boys lol.

I didn't do very well in that tourney. Wasn't getting any cards or luck. But it sure was fun just getting out and playing. I haven't been out much in the last few years without the kiddos and even less with just my hubby.

the casino puts up the money for it but with all of the rebuys they dont add the $500.00 how lame is that. whatever gets more money i guess
